A festive carol singing event with a twist raised nearly 300 for a children’s charity last week.
Around 50 people answered The Children’s Society’s call for all those with the name Carol to join together for a Christmas carolling session outside the Church of Our Most Holy Redeemer in London’s Exmouth Market, Finsbury.
The singers, who impressed onlookers with hymns such as Joy to the World and were accompanied by an orchestra, wore Santa hats and sashes supporting the charity. Organisers thanked all those that took part.
