A woman suffered a cut and bruising during a terrifying sex attack.
The victim was walking along Crouch Hill, between Dickenson Road and Ashley Road, at around 1.10am on Saturday, July 23, when a man tried to talk to her.
She crossed the road to get away, but the man grabbed her, forced his hand into her t-shirt and groped her breasts. When she screamed for help, the man panicked and ran off.
The suspect is Asian, aged 23 to 25, slim and about 5ft 4ins-5ins tall. He has short brown hair and a small face with features that are quite close together. He was wearing a very distinctive white shiny puffer jacket with red stitching or writing on it.
Detective Constable Louise Morris, investigating, said: “I am appealing to anyone who knows this man or who has seen someone fitting his description to contact police. The victim was terrified by this ordeal and we are doing all we can to find him.
“I am particularly keen to speak to two people who were apparently on the other side of the road at the time of the assault, who may have witnessed the incident.”
