GUNNERS star Theo Walcott (left) joins Arsenal Ladies goalkeeper Emma Byrne and Abdi Razak – a young person being helped by Centrepoint – to train for the Be a Gunner, Be a Runner fundraising event at Emirates Stadium.
The 10-lap, 6.4km fun run will take place on March 19 in aid of the youth homelessness charity Centrepoint.
The Arsenal winger said: “I’d encourage Arsenal fans young and old and anyone who fancies getting in shape for the New Year to give the race a go. I’ve been lucky enough to see first-hand the amazing work that Centrepoint does with homeless young people, so by signing up for the fun run you are helping to make a real difference.”
The campaign has set a season-long target of raising 500,000.
