A snowball fight on Holloway Road has gone viral on TikTok, amassing more than 25 thousand views.
The video captured by one Islington TikTok user showed more than ten people taking part in the impromptu fight opposite the Shell garage.
Fatima Haidar who recorded the video said: “[I] grew up in Canada but had to move to London to see a snowball fight.”
The winter activity was made possible by unusually heavy snowfall across North London on Sunday evening (December 11).
The Met Office issued yellow severe weather alerts due to the wintry conditions which caused travel chaos for commuters.
There were severe delays on the London Underground, with all but one line affected.
Several parts of the network were suspended on the morning of December 12.
In north London, this included Northern line trains between High Barnet and Archway, between Finchley Central and Mill Hill East, and between Edgware and Golders Green.
