Police have issued an update after a man was stabbed to his back and arm in an "aggravated burglary".

Emergency services were called early Monday (February 27) after a break-in in Highbury Grange, Islington.

Officers were called at 5.37am and found a man, thought to be in his 30s, with stab wounds to his back and arm.

Metropolitan Police have now said that his conditions are not deemed life threatening after being taken to hosptial.

Enquiries into the case are still ongoing and at this stage, there have been no arrests.
