Two children were among those who fled a house fire.
Around 25 firefighters tackled the blaze in a three-storey terraced house in Penderyn Way, Holloway, on Friday morning (April 21).
The London Fire Brigade was called to the scene at 8.08am, with four fire engines attending.
Three adults and two children left the house before firefighters arrived.
Half of the top floor was damaged by the blaze.
LFB received seven calls about that fire, which took almost 90 minutes to put out.
Fire crews from Holloway, Kentish Town, Islington and Soho fire stations attended the scene.
Pictures from the aftermath of the fire showed that the top floor window of the house had been completely destroyed in the blaze.
There were scorch marks around the window and up to the roof, and debris was strewn about in front of the house.
A spokesperson for the brigade said that the fire is being treated as accidental and is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
