Social media users are obsessed with a new “stock market” bar that has opened in Islington.

The 411 London recently opened its doors in St John Street near Angel station – and has quickly attracted attention for its unique drinks pricing.

Every Wednesday, the bar transforms into a stock market for the evening, where drinks become less expensive as their popularity falls – and vice versa.

And one TikTok of two women visiting the bar on ‘Wall Street Wednesdays’ has now gone viral – racking up more than 800,000 views.

In the video, posted two days ago, the women can be seen looking at the drinks menu, with one exclaiming – “it’s cut throat out here”.

They add that the cocktails can become “unbelievably cheap” if you catch them at the right time. At one point an espresso martini drops to as little as £4.

But the video, posted by ‘Secret London’, warns that prices change every few minutes, “so the name of the game…is acting fast when your favourites are down”.

They advise that in a ‘market crash’ you should order “about three drinks in one go”.

The 411 says that its menu draws inspiration from New York’s casual restaurant scene.

Customers can choose from a large sandwich menu during lunchtimes, with options including much-loved American classics – Po’boyReubenPhilly Cheesesteak and Meatball Sub.

All day options include pizzas, burgers and salad – all inspired by the Big Apple.

Across the weekend, brunch classics such as Eggs Benedict, French Toast and Waffles are available, alongside bottomless pizza and picantés on Saturdays for £40 per person.
