A major road between Holloway and Camden Town was shut into the evening after a crash.

Police were called to Camden Road close to the junction with Holloway Road at 2.30pm yesterday afternoon (November 7).

There had been a crash between a van and a moped.

London Ambulance Service rushed the moped rider to hospital.

A police spokesperson has said that their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Photos from the scene showed at least one police vehicle in front of a cordon at around 7pm yesterday evening.

The road closure forced the detour of buses towards Camden Town, affecting routes 21, 29 and 253.
