A horror 42 hours across London saw three people stabbed with one of the victims left dead.

This only includes incidents that Newsquest London is aware of and has reported on.

The week beginning January 16 saw a string of attacks in Bexley, Hounslow, and Croydon.

Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police.

Man dies after stabbing in Hounslow

A 24-year-old man has died after a stabbing in Hounslow.

The incident happened in Grove Road at around 1.15am on January 16.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

No arrests have been made following the incident.

Woman in her 30s in critical condition after stabbing in Bexley

A woman in her 30s is in a critical condition after a stabbing in Bexley.

The incident happened in Penhill Road just before 4.10pm on January 16.

Officers were called to the scene and found a woman injured.

She was taken to hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

No arrests have been made following the incident. 

Man in his 20s taken to hospital after stabbing in Croydon

A man in his 20s was taken to hospital after a stabbing in Croydon.

The incident happened in College Road just before 11am on January 17.

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.

He was taken to hospital for treatment where his injuries were assessed as not life threatening.

Another man also in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.

He remains in police custody.
