Keira Knightley has been spotted on a stroll around Hampstead as she enjoyed a day off from filming with her husband.

The 38-year-old actress and her musician husband James Righton were seen walking hand-in-hand as they strolled around Hampstead.

Sporting casual outfits, the couple picked up some takeaway food from a local café.

Knightley, typically known for her glamorous red carpet looks, opted for a casual grey jacket layered over a light grey fleece.

Finishing her look with wide-legged jeans rolled up at the bottom to reveal black Dr Marten Chelsea boots, the actress looked every bit the off-duty star.

To stay warm, the Love Actually star donned a brown leather and fur winter bomber hat and also wore wide-framed glasses, finished with a pared-back no-makeup look.

Her husband, James Righton, was seen in a blue puffer jacket paired with black jeans and brown lace-up boots.

Despite not often being seen publicly with his wife, Righton was a member of indie group, The Klaxons, who had hits with Golden Skans and Atlantis to Interzone.

The couple, married in a small ceremony in southern France in 2013, have two children, Edie, eight and Delilah, four.

Despite their fame, the family have managed to keep their private life away from the public eye - living away from the limelight in their Islington mansion.

The Bend It Like Beckham actress has previously opened up about her PTSD struggles, after finding it hard to adjust to her celebrity status in her early 20s.

Knightley has been busy filming for an upcoming Netflix thriller titled Black Doves.

The six-part series, based in London during the Christmas season, also stars Ben Whishaw and Sarah Lancashire.

In the series, the actress plays the role of Helen Webb, a quick-witted, down to earth, dedicated wife and mother - and secretly a professional spy.

She compromises her politician husband by sharing his secrets with her employers, a secret organisation known as the 'Black Doves'.

The series is written by Joe Barton, with Keira Knightley listed as an executive producer.
