Abandoned Archway kitten is first to be rehomed overseas by RSPCA

A severely injured kitten found callously dumped in an Archway bin store late last year has this week become the first pet to be rehomed overseas by the RSPCA.
Following successful surgery on two broken legs at Harmsworth Animal Hospital, Holloway, Monty the cat found his unlikeliest of homes through Veterinary student Kathryn Turner, who knew he’d be the perfect fit for her retired grandparents in Echandelys, France.
“My grandparents wanted a cat, when I saw Monty I knew he was perfect for them. I FaceTimed my Grandma on my iPad and she fell in love with him straight away.”
Monty is settling in well with his new owners Maureen and Dennis, who say he likes nothing more than tuna dinners and having his hair brushed.
