Alternative sports day challenges were tackled by the old and young alike in aid of charity at the weekend.
The first Oxjam Olympics took place at Highbury Fields on Sunday with the aim of tackling obesity and raising money for charity Oxfam.
Among the quirky contests were a Space Hopper race and slug racing, whereby competitors had to crawl along the ground.
Oxjam Islington organised the sports day and manager Barry Causton, 35, said: “It was a great day with the aim of fighting obesity by offering sports in a different way.”
About 45 people took part and managed to raise more than �100.
