A group of children got to meet a senior Catholic figure to celebrate the 40th birthday of their school building.
Pupils at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, in Highgate Hill, Archway, welcomed Archbishop Vincent Nicholas to say mass the school on March 12.
The kids greeted the Archbishop of Westminster in different languages and sung hymns in Swahili, Zulu, Latin and English.
Clare McFlynn, headteacher at the school, said “This wonderful visit from the Archbishop gave our school the opportunity to celebrate its successes both past and present.”
