An Archway man has pleaded guilty over the death of a pedestrian following a crash in Camden earlier this month.

Argon Gashi, 25, was killed in a collision with a car in Camden Road shortly before 8.50am on March 1. London Ambulance Service were called to the scene but he died from his injuries.

Tawanda Marau, 23, who lives off Junction Road, pleaded guilty to death by dangerous driving and attempting to pervert the course of justice when he appeared at Blackfriars Crown Court on Tuesday.

He will be sentenced at the same court next month.
