Gunners legend Pat Rice helped open a new football pitch in Upper Holloway.
The former Arsenal star cut the ribbon on the new astro-turf playing surface at St Mark’s School, in Sussex Way, which was part funded by the club.
A samba band played in the sunshine as pupils, parents, governors, councillor and MP for Islington North Jeremy Corbyn celebrated the opening.
Mr Rice, who grew up in the area and learned to play football on nearby pitches, wished the best for the children and all who play on the pitch.
