Budding Bill Gates can get the boost they need to break into the work of computing at a new programming class.

The Wizzie Wizzie Computer Coding Club, which started on Saturday, gives 8 to 14-year-olds the chance to write computer programmes and create their own games.

Sessions at North Library, Manor Gardens, Holloway, run until April and all the tutors are professional programmers who have voluntered to teach the children.

Organisers want to teach children from all backgrounds how to programme. They say currently only public school pupils are taught the requisite skills.
