Kids and residents enjoyed an action-packed fun day on Highbury Fields on Saturday in an event that attracted over 300 people.

Children and adults took part in an egg and spoon race and other sports events while Peppa Pig and a giant panda rubbed shoulders with the Mayor of Islington.

The annual event, organised by Partners property management agency, which manages around 6,500 properties on behalf of the council, gave residents a chance to ask questions and give feedback on their services.

The fire brigade were in attendance, allowing youngsters to sit in a fire engine, while others had their faces painted and took part in circus and theatre workshops.

Rose-Marie McDonald, chairman of Partners Residents Forum said: “It was a great day with a really good turnout of residents and their families having loads of fun with Partners staff. The fun day is just getting bigger and better every year.”
