Students and teachers alike at City and Islington college were celebrating the college’s A-level results today.
Of the 1700 A-level entries the college had, 97% achieved a passing grade, with 70% receiving grades from A* to B.
Students will now head off to a range of top universities across the country, including Oxford, Cambridge, Nottingham and Leeds.
“These results confirm how the right combination of great teaching and dedicated students can achieve outstanding results,” said Peter Murray, director of City and Islington’s 6th form college.
“The enthusiasm and commitment from the students to achieve their ambitions has been truly inspirational. We look forward to hearing about their future successes.”
