City of London Academy principal Clare Verga described her “delight,” yesterday as her school scored their best ever set of A-level results.
“We are delighted with the outstanding results achieved by our students,” she said.
“All of our Year 13 students have had offers of university places and we are sure that their excellent sixth form results will set them up well for the next stage of their educational journey.”
The school had 71 percent of exams graded between A* and C, and more than doubled it’s percentage of students achieving A* and A grades.
The number of students receiving passing grades was also up from last year, making it a successful day in all for the school’s sixth form.
