The excitement of fast-paced floodlit cricket returns to Lord’s next week – and thanks to Middlesex CCC you can catch all the action for free.

We’ve got three pairs of tickets up for grabs for Middlesex Panthers’ clash with Essex Eagles in the Friends Life t20 tournament on Thursday July 4, which gets under way at 6.10pm.

New Australian signing Adam Voges is expected to feature in the Panthers’ ranks, alongside their other big-hitting batsmen such as Eoin Morgan and Paul Stirling.

The Essex side will include Graham Napier – who holds the record for the highest ever score and the most sixes in domestic Twenty20 cricket – and other experienced one-day specialists such as Ryan ten Doeschate.

Admission gates at Lord’s open at 4.40pm and your tickets will allow you to sit wherever you like in any of the public stands that are open on the night.

To stand a chance of winning a pair of tickets to the match, you just need to answer the following question:

Who is the current Middlesex Panthers Friends Life t20 captain?

Email your answer, along with your name, address and contact telephone number, to us at nwl.sport@archant.co.uk no later than 10am on Monday July 1.

If you aren’t lucky enough to win one of the prizes on this occasion, tickets for the match are still available, priced at £20 for adults and just £5 for under-16s when bought in advance.
