Archant

Islington police officers seized a nine-inch knife stashed in the public stairwell of a Clerkenwell tower block at the weekend.

The blade was found by a resident of the Chadworth House Estate, off Lever Street, at around noon yesterday.

Meanwhile, another knife was found by Caledonian Road officers - in what appeared to be a communal garden area. The Gazette has approached the Cally Police Team for further information.
