AN Archway man who attacked Shameless actor Elliot Tittensor in revenge for an incident which left his son partially blind has escaped jail.

John Russell Flint, 47, of Hargrave Park, received a six-month community order at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday after he pleaded guilty to a public order offence.

Flint had thrown a punch at Mr Tittensor as the 21-year-old actor he left the same court in November last year.

Mr Tittensor had been fined £750 for driving without insurance after he was involved in an accident in Kentish Town last August which left Flint’s son with permanent eye injuries.

Flint, told the court: “I just lost my temper.”
