A cyclist was pulled off his bike and stabbed in a violent robbery by a group of thugs.

The 49-year-old victim was attacked near to Finsbury Park Mosque in St Thomas’s Road, Finsbury Park, on Monday at about 7pm.

His bike and laptop were stolen by the attackers, a small group of young men.

The man suffered a knife wound to his lower back and is now recovering in hospital, where he is in a stable condition. No arrests have been made.

The incident was just around the corner from where a heavily pregnant woman was stabbed in the face and shoulder on Friday. That happened in Seven Sisters Road, not far from the junction with St Thomas’s Road.
