Yesterday afternoon MP for Islington South Emily Thornberry urged anyone with information who has not yet come forward to do so,
She said: “This horrific crime has shaken the entire community and it is imperative that the perpetrators be brought to justice as soon as possible.
“We all hold our children a little closer when such senseless tragedies happen.
“There are people in the local community – parents as well as children – who know what happened. They must come forward for the sake of Alan’s family and for the sake of us all.
“We must stick together and totally reject this senseless, barbaric violence.”
