The victim was finishing a transaction at the station’s cash machine when a man behind him interupted and said he needed to re-enter his PIN in order for the machine to return his card.

He did not comply, but could not understand why his card had not been returned. The man persisted in trying to get the victim to enter his PIN but then left the area.

The victim then realised his debit card had been stolen. Minutes after the theft, £450 was fraudulently withdrawn from his account.

CCTV shows two men around the victim, who carried a white cane, at the time of the offence at about 6.20pm on October 17.

Anyone with information is asked to call British Transport Police on 0800 405040 or text 61016, quoting 342 of 9/12.
