Gang stabbed and robbed teens outside Finsbury Park station

Robbers stabbed two teenagers and made off with their friends’ phones in Finsbury Park yesterday.

The victims, boys aged 15 and 16, had been part of a group travelling on a route 106 bus when they got into conversation with another group of youths.

Both groups got off the bus at Finsbury Park station at about 12.30am when the teenagers were set upon and assaulted, while two others in the group had their phones stolen.

The two teenagers suffered stab injuries and one was taken to a north London hospital. His injuries are said to not be life threatening.

The second youth refused medical support due to minor nature of injury.

Two males, aged 17 and 14 have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and bailed to a date in May.

Officers from Islington Serious Acquisitive Crime Unit are investigating, anyone with information should call police on 101.
