A MAN has appeared in court charged with grooming a 14-year-old girl - and with a spate of other sex and child pornography offences.

Andonakis Constanti, 53, of Caledonian Road, Holloway, appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court on April 7, accused of a string of offences between January and March this year.

The charge sheet included five occasions on which he asked a 14-year-old girl to masturbate, and seven counts of making indecent films of a child.

He was also charged with carrying a knife in a public place outside a Starbucks coffee shop in south London.

Mr Constanti was granted conditional bail and will appear at Southwark Crown Court on May 13. He will be under curfew between 9pm and 7am and is banned from using the internet.
