Murder police were this week urging a Holloway man to “hand himself in” over the fatal stabbing of a man in Southampton.
Tattooed Kevin Suika, 23, is also thought to have links to Hampshire and the Midlands.
Michael Freshwater, 49, was found dead in Westridge Road on the afternoon of April 29. There have been 12 arrests so far in relation to the murder, and two people have been charged over his death.
Officers believe Suika may have information that will help with the murder probe. He is described as black and 5ft 7ins tall. He has a tattoo on his left arm that reads: “Work like a slave, eat like a king.”
Det Supt Becky Riggs said: “I would appeal to Suika to hand himself in at a local police station or make contact with us as soon as possible to assist us with this investigation.
“Come forward and tell us what you know. This remains an active murder investigation and we won’t stop until we get justice for Michael and his family.
“Anyone we find to have been harbouring or assisting Suika to avoid arrest should be aware they are committing an offence themselves and may find themselves liable to arrest or a term of imprisonment.
“I want to appeal directly to the public and ask, if you know where Suika is, please contact Hampshire Constabulary in confidence on 101 quoting Operation Windless.”
Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and leave information anonymously, or report online.
