Holloway Road was closed after a man was stabbed in broad daylight yesterday.

The victim in his 20s was taken to hospital by medics after emergency services were called to the scene, near Waitrose, at 4.15pm.

Scotland Yard said his injuries are not life threatening.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and remains in custody.

Officers were still at the scene this morning making enquiries.
