Two women have been attacked by a sex pest at Highbury and Islington Station - and police believe the man in this photo may have information about what happened.

Both women were groped at around 8.40pm on Friday May 29.

PC Lisa Roberts said: “A woman was touched inappropriately by a man who was walking behind her on the station concourse.

“Shortly afterwards, another woman reported she had been touched inappropriately by a man as she took the escalator up from the Victoria line.”

Officers have viewed CCTV from the station and believe the same man may be responsible for both incidents.

Today they are releasing an image of a man who they think can help with their enquiries.

PC Roberts added: “Both women did the right thing reporting these incidents. We need the public to do the right thing and help us find the person responsible.

“I want to speak to the man in the image. Please tell us who he is?”

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting reference T-SUB/B5 of 09/11/15. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
