A drug dealer who travelled to Essex to sell crack and heroin he had hidden in his posterior has been jailed for two and a half years.

Gavin McEwan, of Essex Road in Islington, was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs after he was found to be hiding 18 wraps of crack cocaine and 15 of heroin.

The 22-year-old was arrested in High Road in Vange, Essex, on February 3 after police stopped the van in which he was travelling.

Police found the drugs after searching him.

He admitted both charges at Basildon Crown Court and was sentenced to two a half years in jail on March 9.
