Islington man charged over Piccadilly ‘attempted robbery’

An Islington man has been charged with conspiracy to rob in Piccadilly on Wednesday.

Charlie Kavanagh, 25, of Hedingham Close, near Essex Road, was also charged with causing injury by dangerous driving.

He will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Also charged were Stephen Hopkins, 29, with conspiracy to rob and malicious wounding; James Symes, 30, of no fixed abode, with conspiracy to rob; and Johnny Kyriacou, 25, with conspiracy to rob.
