One bystander said over 100 homeowners and tenants were cut off from their flats as police dealt with the incident.

A Met spokesman this afternoon said 20-year-old Asani Jackson, of Queensland Road, was charged with possession of an imitation firearm, affray, and assault by beating. He was due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court today.
