Man, 78, arrested after ‘bones’ found in Blackstock Road, Highbury

A 78-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of preventing a lawful burial after suspected skeletal remains were found in Blackstock Road, Highbury, yesterday.

Police were called just before 10.45am. A forensic scene was established outside the property in Blackstock Road, and at a refuse site in Edmonton, north-east London.

The suspect remains in police custody.
