Gang police are investigating after a man was allegedly shot by a gunman on a motorbike in Finsbury Park last night.

Police were called to Seven Sisters Road just before 10pm to reports of a car being shot at by one of two men on a moped or bike.

Officers found no suspect, victim or vehicle, but were then called to an east London hospital where a man was suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm. His injury is not thought to be life threatening.

Detectives from the Trident and Area Crime Command are investigating. There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
