Muggers in balaclavas threaten man with machete in Highbury

THUGS armed with a machete carried out a night-time robbery on a man in Highbury.

Detectives are hunting two men who attacked the 39-year-old victim in Highbury Hill at 8.30pm last Thursday (20).

The men stole £100 in cash, a BlackBerry phone, an iPod and a rucksack containing a laptop.

The victim, who was listening to music, had been walking from Arsenal Tube Station when he was targeted.

One of the men pulled out his headphones while another man approached him with the machete.

The suspects are described as two black men, aged between 20 to 30 and just over 6ft tall.

They both had balaclavas covering their faces.
