CCTV images of a man police want to speak to in connection with a sex attack have been released by police today (Wednesday).

A 27-year-old woman boarded a bus in Seven Sisters Road, Holloway, on Monday July 12 and was followed off a bus and into Medina Road, Holloway, by a man at around 11.40pm..

The suspect then sexually assaulted the woman and forced her to the ground. She managed to run away, closely pursued by the man, but he eventually fled the scene after she shouted at him.

Police from the Sapphire unit, which investigates attacks of this kind, are looking for a skinny man Mediterranean in appearance, aged between 28 and 39 and 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins in height. He was described as having dark gelled-back hair and a gold tooth or crown at the front of his mouth.

Despite extensive enquiries he has yet to be traced.

Anyone with information or who recognises the suspect in the CCTV images is asked to contact Sapphire on 020 7421 0282 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
