Police are appealing for information about a suspect in connection with a firearms offence in Barnsbury.

Cops have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to, having been called to New College Mews, off Islington Park Street, at 2.15pm on July 21.

There had been a report of a man with a firearm. Officers, included firearms officers, attended but no suspects, victims or firearms were located. No injuries were reported.

Police want anyone with information to call 101, quoting reference number 2719848/17. To give information anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
