It’s the 10th anniversary of Ben Kinsella’s senseless murder on June 29. The anti-knife crime trust set up in his name is marking the tragedy with a 10k walk in his memory.

It will take place on June 30, along the Regent’s Canal from Islington to Victoria Park and back. It will raise funds for the Ben Kinsella Trust. The charity, which has an exhibition in Finsbury Library, targets primary school children and raises awareness about the horrors of knife crime.

Ben, a 16-year-old Holloway School student, was out celebrating the end of his GCSEs when the attack happened in North Road in the Cally. Three men, Jade Braithwaite, Juress Kika and Michael Alleyne were convicted and jailed.

Registration for the “10 for Ben” is £19.99. Accompanied children go free. The route is suitable for walkers of all abilities. For more information, visit benkinsella.org.uk
