A young man has been charged with attempted murder over the stabbing of a 54-year-old relative, who is now fighting for his life, in Islington.
Carl Thomas, 25, of Highbury Quadrant was charged this morning and was due to appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court today.
Police were called to the scene of the stabbing around 5.50pm on Wednesday in Highbury Quadrant, N5.
A 24-year-old man who was also arrested in connection the case has been bailed until late August.
Investigations continue.
