A man has been charged with murder more than 18 years after a killing on a Holloway estate.
Ali Tasci, 49, is accused of stabbing to death Selhouk Behdjet on the Andover Estate, off Hornsey Road, in 1994.
Mr Behdjet, who was 58, was found stabbed in a property in Noll House on June 24, 1994. He was pronounced dead at the scene and a post mortem gave the cause of death as multiple stab wounds. No charges were brought against anyone at the time.
Tasci, of no fixed abode, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday October 31) and was remanded in custody. He will appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow (Friday November 2).
