FOUR fire engines and 20 firefighters rushed to a blaze in Holloway yesterday (Tuesday).
The brigade was called to Georges Road, Holloway, at 5.30pm and battled the flames for an hour before finally bringing the fire under control at 6.30pm. Fire crews from Islington, Holloway and Kentish Town stations were at the scene.
Around three quarters of the first and the second floors of the split-level maisonette was damaged by fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
