A THIRD man has been arrested in connection with a double killing in Islington.
The 42-year-old was arrested in Ilford on Tuesday on suspicion of murder, by detectives investigating the shootings of Lee Wallace, 25, and Jayson Hassan, 28. He is currently in custody at a north London police station.
Two other men, now aged 27 and 42, were arrested in November in connection with the killings. They were ordered to return to police in February, but have now been re-arrested and are also in custody.
The two victims were gunned down outside Strang House, on the Cummings Estate, off Britannia Row, on November 9.
Wallace, of Broadway, Loughton, died at the scene. Hassan, of Horatio Street, Bethnal Green, died the following day in hospital.
