A HOLLOWAY man has appeared at the Old Bailey to deny murdering a Polish national in Kentish Town.
Andrew Whitefield, of Horsell Road, allegedly attacked Maciej Novak, 27, in a flat in Forge Place on October 31 last year.
Mr Novak, from Kensal Rise, was operated on in the street before being taken to hospital, but died later the same day.
A postmortem gave the cause of death as stab wounds to the chest.
Whitefield pleaded not guilty to a single count of murder when he appeared via videolink from Pentonville Prison.
Judge Michael Lawson QC set his trial for April 11 this year. The case is expected to last five to seven days.
Whitefield was remanded in custody.
