Cops have made two arrests in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 25-year-old man in Tufnell Park on Tuesday.
Police believe the victim was Ali Al Har, but are still awaiting formal identification.
Officers from the Homicide and Major Crime Command arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of murder today.
They also arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply.
The suspects were both taken to an east London police station where they remain in custody.
A Scotland Yard spokesperson said: “A man aged 25 was found suffering from a stab wound. Officers immediately provided first aid.
“The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 10.07pm.
“His next-of-kin have been informed. A post-mortem examination will be held in due course – enquiries continue.”
He is the fourth person to be stabbed to death on Islington’s streets this year.
