18-year-old set for court appearance today following Alan’s brutal stabbing in February

A second teenager has been charged by police following the tragic murder of Alan Cartwright.

Shaquill Roberts, 18, of no fixed abode, was charged with a related offence of conspiracy to rob and will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court today.

Alan, 15, was stabbed to death while cycling up Caledonian Road on February 27, leaving the whole borough in shock.

Joshua Williams, 18, of Davenant Road, Upper Holloway, was charged on March 8 with murder and conspiracy to rob.

He will appear at the Old Bailey on June 11.
