Archway dad escapes jail for attack on Shameless star

AN Archway man who attacked Shameless actor Elliot Tittensor in revenge for an incident which left his son partially blind has escaped jail.

John Russell Flint, 47, of Hargrave Park, received a six-month community order at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday after he pleaded guilty to a public order offence.

Flint had thrown a punch at Mr Tittensor as the 21-year-old actor he left the same court in November last year.

Mr Tittensor had been fined 750 for driving without insurance after he was involved in an accident in Kentish Town last August which left Flint’s son with permanent eye injuries.

Flint, told the court: “I just lost my temper.”
