A burglar made off with a large amount of jewellery from a house in Holloway.

The thief smashed a ground floor window at the home in Hartham Close at about 1pm on Friday, June 5, before searching the property and taking the jewellery and some electrical equipment.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary on June 27, but police are still appealing for information from anyone who may know where the jewellery is in order to return it to its rightful owner.

If you recognise the jewellery you can call Islington CID on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
