A man has been arrested over the crash in Finsbury Park yesterday that left a 26-year-old fighting for his life.
Police were called to Seven Sisters Road at 3.55pm after a car had hit the man near Finsbury Park Tube station.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital by air ambulance and was said to be in critical condition, although Scotland Yard now say his injuries are not life-threatening.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene. A man was later arrested and taken into custody.
Seven Sisters Road was taped off for hours after the crash, with buses put on diversion.
