A primary school is set to lose its five most senior teachers by the start of next term.
Prior Weston Primary, in Whitecross Street, Finsbury, said goodbye to its deputy head a few weeks ago.
Now the head teacher, upper and lower school phase leaders, a senior upper school teacher and two other members of the staff are set to follow suit.
Cllr Richard Watts, Islington Council’s executive member for children and young people, said: “Although Prior Western is now making good progress, Ofsted recently said the school was only satisfactory but that the potential for improvement was there.
“This summer, provisional Key Stage two results have significantly improved and, in September, Rosie Walden will be joining the school as acting head teacher, bringing with her 12 years of experience as head of Drayton Park Primary School.”
